Retirement Tax Planning

Retirement Tax Planning

taxes_imgIn the mid-late 1990’s, I met with numerous individuals from the Mehoopany plant of Proctor and Gamble to discuss a little known strategy known as “NUA” (Net Unrealized Appreciation of company stock) in order to take advantage of the low cost basis in their employer stock. Otherwise these individuals were only presented with the strategy of rolling their ESOP distributions into either a single or multiple IRAs, which was the common wisdom of the time.

I have helped many individuals in their understanding how to take advantage of attributes and benefits of Roth IRAs, ESOPs, and other qualified retirement plans. Additionally, I provide my client’s with other sophisticated tax planning strategies while making these strategies simple to understand.
